Brandy Creek is a tributary to Whiskeytown Lake in Whiskeytown National Recreation Area. It is located just west of Redding, CA. Whiskeytown Lake is a beautiful Clear lake and was created by diverting water through tunnels and penstocks, from the Trinity River Basin to the Sacramento River Basin.
My Pastel Painting of Brandy Creek is reminiscent of all the Trout and Bass fishing I have had the Privilege of doing living in Northern California. What a wonderful diversity of Landscape (from 14,000 foot Mount Shasta to the Sacramento Valley Floor) and Wildlife (from Hummingbirds to Mountain Lions).
